Let's catch Bam Citadel nighttime vista

Here is a photo showing the magnificent Bam Citadel in the Iranian province of Kerman at night.  

UNESCO-inscribed Bam Citadel and its cultural landscape are truly one of the most magnificent sights to behold in all of Iran.

And if you're lucky enough to see it at night, like in this photo, it's an experience you'll never forget.

The photo shows the restored phase of this ancient citadel that dates back more than two millennia. This phase of the citadel has been illuminated at night for some time now.

Bam city is an oasis, the existence of which has been based on the use of underground water canals, and qanats, and has preserved evidence of the technological development in the building and maintenance of the qanats.

Bam was once located at the crossroads of the famous Silk Road trading route.
